Street Soccer Pop-Up

We recently welcomed Kitback to the park - a brilliant initiative that’s part of the Street Soccer charity. Kitback set up a pop-up shop on the Avondale Retail Parade, giving visitors the chance to buy and donate vintage football shirts.

The event was a great success, with plenty of people stopping by to pick up classic tops and donate their own. All profits from Kitback go directly back into the Street Soccer charity, which was founded in 2009 to create positive change through football. Their mission is simple yet powerful:

'Street Soccer was founded in 2009 to create positive change through football, inspired by lived experience. Established to support people affected by social exclusion, providing a safe space, a sense of purpose, and access to new opportunities.'
