Bee Community Day
We were delighted to recently host a Community Day at our business park in partnership with our resident beekeeper. The event gave tenants the chance to step away from their usual routines and explore the role of bees on the park.
A highlight of the day was the opportunity for guests to jar their own honey, freshly harvested from the hives located on the park. This activity not only provided a sweet keepsake but also created a special connection between our community and the natural environment we are proud to nurture on our park.
Our beekeeper led the session, explaining the vital role bees play in pollination and biodiversity, while also offering a closer look at how hives are cared for and maintained. Many participants were able to view the hives up close, gaining a new appreciation for the skill and dedication involved in protecting these important pollinators.
Beyond the educational aspect, the event was a chance to bring tenants together in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. It was encouraging to see colleagues connecting, sharing experiences, and celebrating an initiative that blends sustainability with wellbeing.
We are proud to host events that enrich the working environment, promote a sense of community, and highlight the importance of environmental responsibility. Our beekeeper’s work reminds us how even small-scale projects can have a meaningful impact, both for people and for nature.
