Four days of fun, foam and fundraising in Strathclyde Park has resulted in a £60,000 boost to St Andrews Hospice’s funds.

Its a Knockout for St Andrews Hospice

It’s A Knockout is now into it’s third year of sponsorship by Strathclyde Business Park, and is firmly established as a summer highlight on the fundraising calendar. The event has now grown from an initial weekend in 2007, to a four day event over the recent bank holiday weekend.

Over 60 teams took part in a range of games, enjoying challenges of speed and skill hampered by large quantities of water and foam. HFD were delighted to re-gain their title in the Sunday afternoon event, fighting off stiff competition from Warburtons bakers and local hairdresser David Corbett.

The Hospice need to raise £42000 each week to provide essential palliative care services. For further information about St Andrews Hospice, please click here
