200 staff volunteered to give blood in the recent Park wide blood donation drive
The Blood Transfusion Service were out at the Park on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of February with their mobile donation unit, to provide Park staff with the opportunity to donate blood. The blood drive was a resounding success, with the appointment diary fully booked for all three days.
Around 200 people attended the unit, donating 167 units of blood in total. On behalf of the Blood Transfusion Service, we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who gave of their time and their blood to help save a life. The unit will be back out in the Park within the next six months or so - more details to follow!
