Strathclyde Business Park and Hamilton International Park secure mobile banking services with RBS

Following the resounding success of a pilot workplace banking scheme at Strathclyde Business Park and Hamilton International Park, both locations have been incorporated into the RBS Mobile Banking network.

The RBS pilot, which ran from March-October of this year, trialled a variety of locations, including Ikea, Eurocental and Sky, alongside both Hamilton International and Strathclyde Business Parks.

Despite the proximity of RBS branches in both Bellshill and Hamilton, the convenience of an on-site service proved very popular with the Park occupiers. Following the end of pilot review, the two Parks were identified as the only successful locations, and have been incorporated into the Lanark mobile banking route.

The bus provides services for Hamilton International Park’s 4,200 staff every Thursday, and for the 6,000 staff employed at Strathclyde Business Park each Wednesday, located at each Park’s retail parade.

HFD’s Development Director Stephen Lewis commented: “With over 10,000 people employed across 300 companies at our Business Parks it’s no wonder the pilot has been most successful in these locations. A successful location is about people and providing services and amenities that people need and want.

“We continue to work closely with our occupiers to identify further opportunities to enhance our range of on site services, and we’re delighted to continue our partnership with RBS.”
